Ring-a-ling.

Brandon and I have been considering wedding bands, but we are a little uncertain as to what look we both would like. Okay, I’ll rephrase: Brandon just wants a plain white-gold band. He’s very low-maintenance, and really dislikes men’s bands that have diamonds or frill.

Me, I like diamonds. I’ve been spoiled, what can I say?

Last night, I checked out a solitaire enhancer at the diamond store where Brandon bought my amazing 1.5ct marquise solitaire engagement ring.

We had originally thought of something more like this (but with a thinner band), but these type don’t fit as well around the stone.

I really loved the added sparkle that the solitaire enhancer gave (as if I need any more!) and trying it on made me all giddy. The only downside is that usually they solder the enhancer to your engagement ring so that they fit together perfectly, but I don’t like never having the option to wear just the engagement ring.

Any tips on how to wear an enhancer without the soldering? Or is that the only option?
