Kudos to our wonderful photographer.
If you live in the Virginia/Shenandoah Valley area and need a photographer, look no further than J. Clinedinst, who did our wedding photography. He was professional, kind and amazing, and the photos look beautiful. We were nervous about the photos because it’s such an important aspect of the wedding experience, but we were so thoroughly satisfied that we hope to utilize his skills again...
We're married!
On March 15, Brandon and I were married and had the most beautiful wedding—although we are a bit biased.
Thank you to all who helped us make our day so special and wonderful. We will never forget your kindness!
I’ll be posting a few photos from the official photographer J. Clinedinst, and watch for more blogs containing tips and more detailed information about our wedding planning.

Wedding ceremony music.
I’m ordering the wedding ceremony sheet music right now. Because of a conflict with a CUC music tour, I won’t be able to have some of the original musicians I wanted.
If you know any violin, cello or flute players in the Harrisonburg area, please let me know (brandonandjaclynday[at]gmail[dot]com).
Thanks so much!
Save-the-date Up...date.
I have begun designing the save-the-dates and ran into a snag—we have no suitable photo to use! So, we’ll take a couple tomorrow in Virginia at my parent’s home and hope for the best. I’ll have to specify what kind of outfit Brandon should bring: I’m thinking retro and romantic!
I’ve already found some fantastic fonts to use and the layout is pretty simple.

Save-the-date!
Since Brandon and I are both dabblers in graphic design, it’s probably a good (and economical) idea for us to design and print our save-the-dates.
Here is a great collection of the type of thing we’ve been considering.
The best part is that once we design it, we can upload it to a printer like Image Media and get 100 6x9 postcards for $100.
Things to do!
Order invitations
Design and order save-the-dates
Make sure bridesmaids have dresses and shoes
Buy navy blue sashes
Get groomsmen measurements
Order sheet music for ceremony
Call potential photographers
Call potential DJs
And, in the meantime, finish finals and find a job! Merry Christmas!
My veil has arrived!
Time to test hairstyles. :)
Ring-a-ling.
Brandon and I have been considering wedding bands, but we are a little uncertain as to what look we both would like. Okay, I’ll rephrase: Brandon just wants a plain white-gold band. He’s very low-maintenance, and really dislikes men’s bands that have diamonds or frill.
Me, I like diamonds. I’ve been spoiled, what can I say?
Last night, I checked out a solitaire enhancer...
Are you kidding me? Do we live in 1955? What is it about weddings and being...
